Sarasota's Beading Queens - Karen & Brenda
Beading Elements, Inc is a beading store in Sarasota, Florida owned and operated by Karen Davidian and Brenda Hinesley. Brenda and Karen have been beading for many years, making unique, one-of-a-kind artwear. Brenda is known for her exquisite eye for color, and her imagination. Her creations have sold of Crystal Cruise Lines and Yachts of Seaborne.
Karen has lots of fun working with customers to help them make unique creation, and also spends alot of time working on the website.
Let the Beading Begin!
After amassing so many beads in their home, they decided to open a bead store in 2005. "We ran out of room to store our beads, so we figured we better open a store" claims Karen. Brenda responded "It's a great excuse to shop for more beads!"
We began with a small store in 2005, and after 3 years we had to move to a larger facility. We have a classroom for group or private classes in weaving, stringing, PMC, kumihimo, wirework and crochet. We also have a work table and encourage customers to come in and play.
